Job Description
The Department of Economics at Lycoming College invites applications for a two-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics (with the possibility of renewal for a third year) to begin July 1, 2027. The successful candidate will teach Principles of Microeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics, and a range of upper-level courses relating to their areas of interest and expertise. Preference will be given to those with ability to teach Money and Banking, Environmental Economics, and Financial Economics. However, other specialties will be considered. A standard teaching load will be 3/3 with expectations of a continuing research agenda that informs their teaching and modest service to the College. Applicants should demonstrate an interest in working in a liberal arts setting, excellence in teaching undergraduate students, and experience working with students from diverse backgrounds. PhD or ABD required.
