Asst/Assoc/Professor - Neonatology43260BR43260BRPosition DescriptionContributes to the university's mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit.

Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate's qualifications and experience.

Major/Essential FunctionsResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Inpatient Level 3 NICU serviceCall coverage with 4 faculty NICU teamLead 5 member neonatal nurse practitioner groupSupervising residents and medical students in inpatient and outpatient settingsProvide lectures and conferences for residents and medical studentsConducts and publishes peer reviewed clinical researchOccasional DutiesRequired QualificationsCompletion of fellowship in neonatology.

Board certification or board eligible in neonatology within one year of employment.

Texas medical license.
