Adjunct Instructor of Mathematics The Department of Mathematics and Natural Science at Christendom College invitesapplications for a part-time Adjunct Instructor of Mathematics to teach undergraduate mathematics courses in person for the Spring 2027semester. Courses may include the calculus sequence, differential equations, linear algebra, and other mathematics courses at the calculuslevel and above. Located in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, Christendom College is a Roman Catholic, four-year, liberal arts collegededicated to restoring all things in Christ through academic excellence and fidelity to the Magisterium. Responsibilities Teach assigned courses inperson. Prepare and deliver clear, engaging lectures and classroom activities. Develop and grade assignments, quizzes, andexaminations. Hold regular office hours and provide appropriate support to students. Maintain accurate course records andgrades. Participate in departmental activities as appropriate. Qualifications A master's degreein mathematics or a closely related field is required. A Ph. D. in mathematics or a related field ispreferred. College-level teaching experience is preferred. Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate mathematicseffectively. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and to helping students developmathematical understanding and problem-solving skills.
