The English Language and Literature Department of Christendom Collegeinvites applications for a full-time position as an Assistant orAssociate Professor,to be determined by qualifications, beginning August 15, 2027. While preferencemay be shown for applicants with ascholarly focus on modern British and/orAmerican literature, we seek a candidate who can teach any of the literature coursesin the corecurriculum, which examines literature from Homer and Virgil toDostoevsky and Flannery O'Connor. While preference may be shown forapplicantswho hold the Ph. D., we will also consider Ph. D. candidates who can demonstrateteaching excellence. Located inVirginia's Shenandoah Valley, Christendom College is a RomanCatholic, four-year, liberal arts college dedicated to restoring all things inChrist through academic excellence and fidelity to the Magisterium.
