This position is ineligible for health, dental, and life insurance benefits through Chicago State University. The Program in Communications, Media Arts and Theatre seeks applicants for a part-time, non-tenure track lecturer to teach undergraduate courses in Public Relations. Primary duties include teaching 1 or 2 courses during a 4.5 month semester. Faculty members are expected to teach, develop syllabi and teaching materials related to courses taught, and hold regular office hours. Faculty are hired, evaluated, and retained on the basis of conditions covered in the Union Contract. Required Education An MA or PhD in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or a related field, is required. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities We are seeking who is capable of teaching undergraduate courses covering the theory and practice of Public Relations. Professional experience in a public relations position is also preferred. Preferred Qualifications University level teaching experience preferred
