OSM is a leading flight school in Europe and is expending the operation in the United States growing the Fort Lauderdale base. With approximately 150 active flight students , we are looking for someone who can help us monitor student progression, maintain high training standards, and ensure our students are fully prepared for every stage of their training and ultimately their FAA checkride. What You'll Do Track the progress of students enrolled in Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, and Commercial Pilot training programs Monitor flight hours, course requirements, stage completion, and overall training progress Identify students who are falling behind or require additional attention Perform regular audits of student training records Maintain a checkride-readiness pipeline and upcoming graduation forecast Work closely with flight instructors, Check Instructors, Assistant Chief Instructors, and the Chief Instructor Monitor student inactivity and training delays Help identify training and scheduling bottlenecks Maintain student progress dashboards and provide weekly reports to the Training Department Help ensure compliance with OSM's FAA-approved Part 141 training programs We're Looking For Someone Who Is Extremely organized and detail-oriented Comfortable managing and tracking a large number of students Proactive — able to identify problems before they become problems Comfortable communicating and following up with students and instructors Familiar with flight training and FAA requirements Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, and training-management software Able to work independently while being part of a fast-paced flight-training operation Preferred Qualifications Previous experience dealing with students and training programs Previous flight-school or aviation experience is a plus Knowledge of FAA Part 61 and Part 141 requirements Experience with FlightLogger or similar flight-school management software is a plus
