Overview We are seeking a dynamic ELOG (Electronic Log) Specialist to join our team and drive the effective implementation and management of electronic logging systems within our organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance operational efficiency through expert use of learning technology, instructional design, and project management. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing engaging training content, facilitating professional development, and supporting our staff in mastering ELOG systems to ensure compliance and safety. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs on ELOG systems, including software like Blackboard, LMS platforms, and SCORM-compliant content. Manage curriculum development for instructional content related to electronic logging procedures, ensuring clarity and accessibility for diverse learner groups. Facilitate professional development sessions and teacher coaching to promote best practices in electronic log management across various departments. Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot issues related to LMS platforms, Adobe Captivate, and other learning technology tools. Develop instructional materials that incorporate adult education principles, ensuring engaging delivery through presentation skills and effective communication. Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback collection, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with instructional leadership standards. Support ongoing learning technology integration efforts by providing technical proficiency guidance and content development expertise. Requirements Proven experience with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) instructional design methodology. Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple training initiatives simultaneously. Familiarity with SCORM standards, Blackboard LMS, and other learning management systems (LMS). Expertise in curriculum development, course design, and instructional content creation for adult learners in educational or corporate settings. Experience facilitating teacher training sessions or professional development workshops within school environments. Knowledge of learning technology tools such as Adobe Captivate and other authoring software. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively. Technical proficiency in productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) for content creation and reporting purposes. Classroom experience or background in instruction or teacher coaching is highly desirable. Strong writing skills for developing instructional materials and documentation related to ELOG procedures.
