Header Job Summary Join our dynamic educational team as an Early Literacy Coach, where you will play a vital role in enhancing literacy development for young learners. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead curriculum development, deliver professional development, and coach teachers to implement evidence-based literacy strategies. Your expertise will empower educators to foster a love of reading and writing, ensuring every child builds a strong foundation for lifelong learning. As an Early Literacy Coach, you will be at the forefront of instructional leadership, leveraging innovative learning technologies and instructional design principles to create impactful training experiences. Header Duties Design and develop engaging, standards-aligned literacy curricula and instructional content using tools like Adobe Captivate and LMS platforms such as Blackboard. Facilitate professional development workshops and training sessions for educators on early literacy best practices, including the use of SCORM-compliant e-learning modules. Coach teachers through classroom observations, providing actionable feedback and modeling effective literacy instruction techniques. Collaborate with school leaders to implement instructional strategies that improve student literacy outcomes across diverse classroom settings. Utilize project management skills to plan, organize, and execute curriculum initiatives and training programs efficiently. Develop assessment tools and evaluation metrics to measure the effectiveness of literacy programs and professional development efforts. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of learning technology trends, instructional design methodologies, and adult education principles to enhance training quality. Header Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in teaching early literacy or reading instruction with classroom experience. Strong background in instructional design, curriculum development, and adult education facilitation. Technical proficiency with LMS platforms such as Blackboard or similar systems; experience with SCORM packages is highly desirable. Familiarity with learning technology tools including Adobe Captivate and other content development software. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and engagingly. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously using project management methodologies like ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Experience in teacher coaching, professional development facilitation in schools, and instructional leadership roles.
