Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking committed experienced School Teachers to join our instructional team. The successful candidate will deliver developmentally appropriate instruction that promotes academic achievement, social-emotional growth, and a lifelong love of learning. This educator will design engaging curricula across subject areas, differentiate instruction to meet diverse needs, leverage instructional technology, and contribute to a collaborative school culture that prioritizes student well-being and high expectations. Key Responsibilities Design, plan, and deliver comprehensive lesson plans across literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, and other grade-level subjects. Differentiate instruction and use evidence-based strategies to support diverse learners, , gifted students, and students with disabilities; coordinate with special education staff and related service providers as appropriate. Integrate instructional design principles and age-appropriate, interactive learning activities that develop critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Use formative and summative assessment data to monitor student learning, provide constructive feedback, inform instruction, and communicate progress to families. Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment through proactive behavior management, clear routines, and restorative practices. Collaborate with grade-level teams, specialists, and school leadership on curriculum development, instructional strategies, assessment planning, and schoolwide initiatives (e.g., early childhood programming, or other pedagogical approaches). Support students' social-emotional development by building strong relationships, promoting student voice, and implementing strategies that foster resilience, empathy, and responsible citizenship. Participate in professional learning to remain current on best practices in pedagogy, literacy instruction, classroom management, technology integration, and child development. Engage families and the school community through regular communication, parent-teacher conferences, and participation in school events and extracurricular activities. Prepare clear, accurate instructional materials, reports, and documentation as required. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; valid state teaching certification for the appropriate grade level. Demonstrated experience planning and delivering high-quality instruction for elementary-aged students. Strong classroom management skills and experience using differentiation and formative assessment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues. Commitment to culturally responsive teaching and creating an equitable learning environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in special education, early childhood education, literacy coaching, or related specialty areas. Master's degree in Education or related field. Experience in private school settings or working with diverse student populations. Background in tutoring, curriculum writing, or instructional design. Working Conditions & Expectations Full-time position; typical school-year schedule with participation in staff meetings, professional development days, and occasional evening events for families. Ability to supervise students during classroom activities, recess, field trips, and extracurricular programs. Occasional lifting of classroom materials and setup for learning activities.
