GENERAL SUMMARY
: This is a part-time position that works within the state of Missouri Correctional Facilities to provide support for prison education program students.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Hold study hall for a set period of time, dependent on correctional facility Check high school equivalency information in AS 400 Regularly review conduct violations of students for continued participation in AS400 Manage the call out list for study hall each week Manage the Lantern class for communication for the correctional facility Assist students with questions Assist with registration and financial aid activities, as needed Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
: Bachelor's degree preferred. Correctional facility experience is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequently stand and/or sit for several hours consecutively. May work in buildings without elevator access, requiring routine use of stairways to move between floors. May work in areas of a facility without air conditioning.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Microsoft Office experience preferred, Canvas LMS experience preferred, AS400 experience preferred

This position may require travel, evenings, use of a personal vehicle, and required to enter a correctional facility.
