Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, parents, and caregivers to coordinate instructional strategies and share progress updates. Utilize educational technology and learning tools to enhance engagement and facilitate learning in various settings. Conduct assessments to monitor progress, adjust instructional methods accordingly, and ensure compliance with educational regulations. Provide training and mentorship to classroom staff on behavior management techniques and instructional modifications for students with disabilities. Maintain detailed documentation of interventions, progress reports, and communication logs to support ongoing evaluation and compliance. Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in special education, child development, speech therapy, or a related field; advanced certifications preferred. Proven experience working with children with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or related special needs populations. Strong knowledge of special education law, IEP development, behavioral management strategies, and instructional modifications. Proficiency in educational technology integration, curriculum development, and lesson planning tailored for diverse learners. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement, team collaboration, and professional documentation. Ability to implement applied behavior analysis (ABA), sensory integration techniques, or other therapeutic approaches as needed.
