Summary Under the supervisin f the building principal, in cnjunctin with the Directr f Literacy and the Directr f STEM, the Interventin Specialist will deliver research-based interventins, perfrm academic assessments, analyze data, prvide prfessinal develpment aligned with district and schl imprvement gals and the ASD Strategic and Instructinal Framewrks. The Interventin Specialist shuld demnstrate expertise in instructin, assessments, data analysis, leadership and cllegial relatinship skills.

The Interventin Specialist will ffer training t teachers in effective interventin and assessment and guidance t parents in methds t supprt the schl-based interventins.

Essential Duties and Respnsibilities:

Demnstrates knwledge and understanding f the PDE Standards Aligned System (SAS), Higher rder Thinking, and F rmative Assessment Demnstrates knwledge and understanding f Resiliency and Classrm Management, with emphasis n knwledge f Restrative Practices and Trauma Inf rmed practices Supprts teachers in utilizing early warning systems t assist in prviding r develping apprpriate instructinal r behavi ral plans. Assists in team decisins regarding academic and behaviral needs f students (e.g., using curriculum-based assessments. Designs and implements apprpriate Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventins fr literacy, mathematics and behavi r. Supprts classrm teachers in data analysis, prgress mnitring, designing and scheduling apprpriate classrm-based interventi ns Facilitates and crdinates meetings with varius stakehlders t supprt, rganize and manage the Respnse t Instructin and Interventin (RtII) pr cess Wrks in a cllabrative team apprach t reslve, cllabrate and prblem-slve student c ncerns.
