Education Specialist

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and creative Education Specialist to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual passionate about instructional design, digital education, and audience engagement. The Education Specialist will be responsible for developing engaging content for our Learning Management System, designing and delivering materials for online training sessions, and supporting content development for our CRM. This Education team member will work closely with the Education Manager and the rest of the Education Team to determine topics to be developed as well as update existing content for the agent facing online system. This person should work well in a collaborative environment, be task oriented, and be a self-starter. Duties Design, develop, and upload educational content to the Learning Management System. Create course outlines, video scripts, assessments, quizzes, and supporting documents. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and effectiveness. Continuously update and improve learning materials based on user feedback and performance data. Support cross-functional teams on related projects as needed . Participate in regular team meetings to discuss strategy and progress. Assist with the preparation and execution of the KHM Education Events. Qualifications Recent experience (at least 5 years) as an active travel agent Teaching/training experience a plus Ability to take a travel topic and create content. This may require some research outside general knowledge. Must possess ability to handle, organize, and communicate status of multiple projects at different stages of completion. Must demonstrate the ability to work with and accept feedback from team members, managers, directors, and executives on a regular basis. Must possess strong written and research abilities. Must possess the ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Extensive Knowledge of Office 360 programs (Excel, PowerPoint and Word experience a must) Ability to work without close supervision, responds to management direction, takes responsibility for projects. This position may be performed remotely, with the possibility of approximately 20% travel.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

College degree in related field. Education degree preferred. Experience with curriculum development. At least 5 years of experience as an active booking travel agent. Knowledge of the host agency model and the independent contractor component. Strong knowledge and proficiency with

TESS CRM.

Knowledge of other CRM or CRM like systems in the travel industry. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Comfortable using design tools (e.g. PowerPoint and Canva).
