School Year Primary Purpose:
Through instructional coaching, assist teachers in the learning and application of knowledge and skills designed to improve instruction and overall student performance through observation, staff development, and support. Work directly with teachers to enhance the instructional process in order to increase student engagement and improve academic achievement.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree Valid Texas teaching certification for assigned content area and level ESL Certification preferred (for ELA IC requirement)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Communicate and demonstrate research-based instructional practices Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
Minimum of five years of experience as a classroom teacher Demonstrated leadership experience
