This position serves as the primary point of contact for the NWESD with the Cascade Bicycle Club, AESD Bike Education Program Manager, and participating school districts. The Regional Bike Education Specialist leads program implementation, delivery logistics, daily programming, and supports both internal and external key partners. Full Job Description Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Work experience in education or related field preferred. WSP/FBI criminal history background clearance required. Valid Washington State driver's license and proof of liability insurance required. Preferred qualifications include experience in teaching bicycling or other healthy activities to children. Employment Conditions and Benefits Work is performed approximately twenty percent (20%) in an office environment and approximately eighty percent (80%) traveling to districts, ESD's, and other miscellaneous locations which can include outdoor work. Lifts and carries a maximum of fifty (50) pounds, including moving bicycles to/from storage or on/off vehicles and trailers, including during adverse weather. May be some weekend and evening work. Adequate manual and finger dexterity, hearing, speech, and vision are necessary to perform the essential functions of this position. This position is not telecommute-eligible.
