Job Description
Job Summary Starz In Motion Dance School is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Ballet Instructor to join our faculty for an immediate Tuesday placement working with our competitive company dancers, ages 7-16 . We are looking for an instructor who is knowledgeable in ballet technique but, just as importantly, knows how to make ballet understandable, accessible, and engaging for young dancers . The ideal candidate brings a positive teaching approach, communicates corrections clearly, and can help dancers understand how strong ballet technique supports their training across all styles of dance. What We're Looking For Strong knowledge of ballet technique, terminology, alignment, and proper placement Experience teaching dancers ages 7-16 at varying levels Ability to provide clear, constructive corrections in a positive and encouraging way An engaging teaching style that helps students understand the why behind their technique Ability to challenge advanced dancers while building confidence and strong fundamentals Dependable, professional, and comfortable working as part of a collaborative faculty Experience with competitive dancers is strongly preferred Schedule Tuesdays only Classes are held during evening hours. This is an immediate opening for our current season with the opportunity to become an ongoing member of our faculty.
