We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Dance & Gymnastics Instructor to join our team! If you love working with preschool-aged children and creating a fun, encouraging learning environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities Include:
Teach engaging dance and gymnastics classes for children ages 2-6 . Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate lessons aligned with WEBBY curriculum. Instruct students in ballet, jazz, creative movement, beginner gymnastics, and motor skill development. Demonstrate proper techniques while emphasizing safety, coordination, and confidence. Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Encourage each child's individual growth through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback. Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with parents when needed. Collaborate with fellow instructors to coordinate performances, special events, and seasonal showcases. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe studio environment. Traveling to schools and portraying the company's brand and mission with the utmost integrity. Being punctual, dependable, and reliable is a must! Demonstrates excellent communication skills with school staff and the WEBBY Team.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units required OR a minimum of 6 ECE units and currently enrolled in ECE classes. Must be 18+ Years Old Previous experience teaching dance and/or gymnastics to young children preferred. Strong classroom management and behavior guidance skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate children with patience, enthusiasm, and creativity. Knowledge of ballet, jazz, creative movement, or gymnastics instruction is preferred. Must have a reliable vehicle and current driver's license. Must pass a background check. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
Pay:
$20.00 - $40.00 per half hour
A Little More Information About The Position:
Part-time opportunities available with the possibility of building your schedule as wanted/needed. Classes take place in the mornings (9am-11:30am) & afternoons (2pm-4:30pm) at various locations. We accommodate flexible schedules. School holidays are recognized. No weekends or evenings unless there's a special event.
