In this role, you will lead engaging dance classes, teach a variety of dance styles, and foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages creativity and confidence. Your enthusiasm will help children develop their physical skills, musicality, and self-expression while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all students. Duties Implement age-appropriate dance lesson plans that incorporate various styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and creative movement. Lead dynamic dance classes for children across different age groups, ensuring activities are fun, educational, and tailored to individual skill levels. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a respectful and supportive learning environment. Incorporate elements of choreography, musical instruments, theater arts, and visual arts into lessons to enhance artistic expression. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth and confidence. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student achievements and address any concerns. Maintain a safe space by adhering to all safety protocols related to dance instruction and child development. Experience Proven experience working with children in educational or extracurricular settings, preferably within youth programs or arts education. Strong background in teaching dance, choreography, or performing arts with demonstrated ability to develop curriculum plans. Experience managing classrooms or group activities with behavior management techniques suitable for young learners. Knowledge of childhood development principles relevant to creative arts instruction. Familiarity with teaching visual & performing arts, music education, or theater enhances instructional versatility.
