Dance Instructors to inspire students of all ages through Hip Hop! In this role, you will teach and structure weekly dance classes that encourage artistic expression, develop strong Hip Hop technique, and incorporate the cultural and historical foundations of Hip Hop. Your enthusiasm for dance and commitment to nurturing talent will help students build their skills, gain confidence, have fun, and develop a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts. Responsibilities Lead lively, well-structured Hip Hop dance classes that motivates students, encourages active participation, and builds a strong foundation in Hip Hop technique. Teach the cultural and historical foundations of Hip Hop in a way that is engaging, accessible, and age-appropriate for youth. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and the developmental needs of children, teens, and adults. Plan performances or showcases that allow students to demonstrate their progress and build confidence on stage. Commit to teaching scheduled classes every week and maintaining consistent attendance. Be flexible and able to teach in unconventional dance environments, such as auditoriums, classrooms, multipurpose rooms, and other non-studio spaces. Experience Proven experience in teaching dance instruction across different age groups, especially with children or youth programs. Strong background in choreography and performing arts education with an emphasis on creative arts development. Experience working with students in classroom settings and familiarity with curriculum development for dance education a plus.
