Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Dance Teacher to inspire students of K-12 students through dynamic dance instruction, choreography, and creative arts education. This paid position involves developing engaging curriculum, managing classrooms effectively, and fostering a positive environment that encourages artistic expression. The ideal candidate will bring experience working with children, a passion for the arts, and a talent for motivating students to reach their full potential. Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive dance tailored to different age groups and skill levels Lead engaging dance classes that incorporate movement, choreography, and performance techniques Manage classroom behavior to create a safe, respectful, and inspiring learning environment Foster creativity by encouraging students' artistic expression through dance and movement Incorporate elements of theater, music, and visual arts into dance lessons when appropriate Collaborate with colleagues on youth programs and special performances or showcases Maintain organized lesson plans, progress reports, and classroom records to track student development Qualifications Proven experience in teaching dance or performing arts to children or youth programs Strong background in choreography, dance instruction, and creative arts education Knowledge of classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques Experience working with children and understanding childhood development principles Skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and integrating multiple art forms such as theater or music Familiarity with teaching visual & performing arts, including dance styles and stage performance Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels Please send resume to Julie at ‭+1 (714) 932-1027‬ to be considerd to schedule in person interview
