Job Description
Dance Image, located in the City of Whittier, is a popular and established dance studio looking for passionate and dedicated dance instructors to join our Dance Image Family. Part-Time Positions as well as immediate Substitute Positions available for Hip Hop Instructor with knowledge in various other styles of dance. Job description Lead Dance classes for ages 4 years to adult students, on a part-time basis Create choreography within classes for events and performances when necessary Knowledge and experience in hip hop as well as multiple dance styles The ability to adapt to the needs of students of all abilities The ability to teach levels beginner through advanced Requirements Fun, energetic and patient individual who has a passion for teaching the art of dance to children, teens and adults Minimum 6 years Hip Hop experience for all other levels. Minimum 5 years dance experience for other styles. Minimum 1 year teaching experience Knowledge in at least 3 styles of dance; Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Stretch/Conditioning, Musical Theater and/or Acro. Excellent people and communication skills
