Responsibilities Ordering and receiving inventory and other tasks as assigned. Fitting of diabetic shoes with custom-made inserts. Fitting of functional custom-made foot inserts. Perform minor repairs and modifications on orthotics and shoes. Instructs or educates patients and caregivers on the proper care and use of provided equipment. Identify any issues/problems and adjust accordingly to ensure patient satisfaction with devices provided. Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment. Provide detailed clinical notes in patient medical records. Adhere to all safety regulations; compliance with Medicare and other governmental regulations; compliance with blood borne and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
