Pay Scale:

Responsibilities Plan, sequence, and lead group Mat Pilates classes suited for participants of varying fitness levels, offering modifications and progressions as necessary. Provide clear verbal, visual, and directional cueing to guide participants through movements while emphasizing alignment, core stability, breathwork, and control. Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring a welcoming environment for all clients. Observe participants during class to ensure safe execution, correct improper posture or movement patterns, and offer adjustments or alternative exercises for individuals with physical limitations or injuries. Arrive early to prepare the studio space, inspect provided equipment (such as mats, blocks, bands, or resistance rings). Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the fitness area. Ensure proper sanitation of shared equipment before and after classes. Maintain active certified status, stay updated on current industry practices, and continually refine instructional skills. Qualifications Valid Mat Pilates Certification from an accredited Pilates or fitness training institution (e.g., PMA/NCPT, Balance Body, Merrithew/STOTT, or equivalent). Solid understanding of functional anatomy, biomechanics, posture analysis, and proper movement principles. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly, and active listening skills to build rapport with clients and foster an inclusive studio environment. Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. Proven ability to deliver clear verbal, visual, and tactile cues while managing group dynamics across multi-level classes. Prior experience teaching group Mat Pilates or movement classes preferred.
