Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Acro Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the acro dance style and will be responsible for teaching tumbling and acro dance classes to students of all ages. This role requires creativity, effective behavior management skills, and the ability to develop engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of each student. The Acro Instructor will play a key role in fostering a positive and inspiring environment that encourages students to express themselves through dance. Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum goals and student needs. Safely and effectively teach tumbling to beginner and intermediate dancers. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and productive learning environment. Maintain a positive rapport with students, parents, and staff while promoting a love for dance. Qualifications Proven experience in dance instruction, particularly with ages 5+. Strong behavior management and classroom management skills. Experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting. Ability to develop engaging lesson plans and curriculum tailored to different age groups. Background in theater or tutoring is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate students of varying skill levels. A passion for dance and teaching, with a commitment to fostering student growth and creativity. Having certification in acrobatic arts I and II is a plus but not required!
