Duties Design and implement dynamic dance curricula tailored to various age groups and skill levels, including ballet, theater dance, and other styles Lead engaging classes that promote proper technique, creativity, and physical fitness Manage classroom behavior to ensure a safe, respectful, and motivating environment for all students Incorporate elements of choreography, performance preparation, and stage presence into lessons Collaborate with colleagues on special projects such as recitals, community performances, or workshops Maintain accurate attendance records and progress reports for each student Skills Extensive knowledge of tap dance techniques Strong classroom management skills to foster discipline while encouraging creativity Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning for diverse age groups Ability to work effectively with children, teens, and adult learners in various educational settings Familiarity with early childhood education principles and preschool experience is a plus Join us as a Dance Teacher to ignite passion for movement in every student!
