Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and passionate Tap Dance Teacher to inspire students of all ages and skill levels through the art of dance. In this role, you will develop engaging lesson plans, foster a positive learning environment, and nurture students' love for movement and self-expression. Whether working with children, teens, or adults, your enthusiasm and expertise will help students build confidence, improve technique, and enjoy the transformative power of dance. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while sharing your love for dance in a vibrant educational setting. Duties Design and implement dynamic dance curricula tailored to various age groups and skill levels, including ballet, theater dance, and other styles Lead engaging classes that promote proper technique, creativity, and physical fitness Manage classroom behavior to ensure a safe, respectful, and motivating environment for all students Incorporate elements of choreography, performance preparation, and stage presence into lessons Collaborate with colleagues on special projects such as recitals, community performances, or workshops Maintain accurate attendance records and progress reports for each student Skills Extensive knowledge of tap dance techniques Strong classroom management skills to foster discipline while encouraging creativity Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning for diverse age groups Ability to work effectively with children, teens, and adult learners in various educational settings Familiarity with early childhood education principles and preschool experience is a plus Join us as a Dance Teacher to ignite passion for movement in every student!
