Child Instructor (Dance, Ballet, Gymnastics) Trybe 8 Miami, FL Job Details Part-time | Contract $50 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications Dancing Teaching Full Job Description Job Overview Join our dynamic team at Trybe 8 as a Child Instructor for either dance, ballet, or gymnastics (we're hiring for multiple roles - candidates do not need to teach all three)! We are looking to expand our children's programming and are seeking warm, engaging instructors who love working with and inspiring kids. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's development while honing your coaching and teaching skills with kids in different classes and different age groups. Candidates must have reliable transportation to Mid Beach (41st and Pine Tree Drive), be on time, trustworthy, and easily accessible. A Duties Plan and deliver age-appropriate dance and gymnastics lessons that emphasize proper technique, safety, and enjoyment. Lead children through structured activities Ensure all activities are conducted safely Manage class behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies to maintain a focused yet fun environment. Studio Owner is to communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, attendance, and any concerns. Maintain equipment safety checks and ensure the cleanliness of the training area. Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among children during group activities and competitions. Help build class programming and/or choreography for dance Experience Previous experience working with children in a physical education or sports coaching setting is highly preferred, but we will consider applicants with a strong background in competitive dance, gymnastics, cheerleading, etc. Strong background in dance, ballet, or gymnastics is required Certification in first aid and CPR (including AED operation) is a bonus but not required Embark on a rewarding journey by inspiring children to move confidently while developing essential life skills!
