A Dance Teacher teaches students in dance movement and choreography. Usually requires previous dance experience. Teaches a variety of dancing styles to individuals or groups of students. Styles may include ballet, tap, hip-hop, ballroom, jazz, lyrical or modern.

No experience is needed (but prior experience is a huge plus•candidates with experience will likely be offered an immediate full time position ) as training is provided for the right canditate . This is a full time/part-time, contracted position with pay while you learn to become a certified ballroom, latin and swing dance instructor. General office and administrative duities are required while you work to pass the training program. The sky is the limit in this extremely lucritive and promising career! The quicker you learn, the faster you rise in profession and income. Pay starts around $400•600 per week ($15 per hour), depending on hours needed and hours worked, with a flexible schedule while training, and could climb in excess of $40 per hour, plus bonuses and commissions. Your income is up to you. We will train you to be a high income earning professional in an extremely fun and rewarding position! This position will start as a paid probitionary, contracted position to determine long term eligibility. You will need to be available to accept training and learn/operate general studio functions 5 days a week, in the afternoons, evenings and some weekends. Studio hours are typically 12-9PM, Monday through Friday (some weekends or later hours may be needed). Will entertain schedule flexibility with right candidate. The posibility to convert from probationary to fully active is soley based on your punctuality, professionalism, productivity and ability to learn and take clients. Candidates must live in St. Augustine. We will not entertain candidates that live more than 20 miles away from our location.

•Responsibilities Instruct students in various dance styles, focusing on ballroom, latin, swing and other disciplines as needed via private lessons, group classes, practice parties, competitions, travel destinations and other events.

•Assisting owner in keeping studio safe, clean and presentable Answering phones, booking clients, handing general office tasks Preparation to passing social foundation teachers program Teaching group classes, private lessons and hosting students at dance parties Create and implement lesson plans that cater to the skill levels of students. May require some travel at certain times Qualifications Social Dance (Ballroom, Latin Swing+) experience a plus, but not required. We'll teach the right candidate. Understanding of music/musicality/timing. Experience working with adults in an educational or recreational setting is a plus, but not required. We will teach you! Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students and coworkers Ability to administrate and help with general office functions Sales experience a HUGE plus, but will train A passion for teaching and changing lives
