Duties Develop age-appropriate ballet curriculum that emphasizes basic movement, coordination, and creativity for toddlers Lead lively, interactive ballet classes that incorporate storytelling, music, and playful choreography to keep children engaged Manage classroom behavior with patience and positive reinforcement to create a safe and supportive learning environment Incorporate visual arts, musical instruments, and movement activities to enhance the dance experience and stimulate childhood development Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate progress and provide guidance on supporting children's artistic growth at home Plan special performances or showcases to celebrate student achievements and boost confidence in young dancers Maintain classroom organization, safety standards, and cleanliness in accordance with early childhood education best practices Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings Strong background in ballet instruction, choreography, or dance instruction with a focus on creative arts for young learners Knowledge of classroom management techniques suitable for toddlers and young children Experience teaching visual & performing arts, including music integration or theater experience preferred Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate movement, music, arts & crafts, and storytelling Familiarity with childhood development principles and behavior management strategies Skills in working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities; experience with special education is a plus Passion for early childhood education combined with a creative arts specialization such as sewing, photography, or culinary arts is desirable We are committed to providing a supportive space for both our students and our talented teachers!
Pay:
$40.00 - $90.00 per hour
