WE'RE HIRING FOR THE 2026-2027 SEASON A
new building, a new season, and an exciting new chapter for Morton Street Dance Center. We're growing our team and looking for passionate, experienced dance educators to join our wonderful community. We are especially seeking teachers who love working with younger dancers and are available during weekday late afternoons/early evenings and Saturdays.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Dance or a related field and/or professional experience in dance 2-3 years of teaching experience preferred Professional performance experience is a plus Strong knowledge of one or multiple dance styles Experience working with children and dancers of varying ages and skill levels Excellent communication and classroom management skills Punctual, reliable, collaborative, and team-oriented Passionate about creating a positive, encouraging, and inspiring learning environment Commitment to the growth and development of our students and the MSDC community Responsibilities include developing engaging lesson plans, teaching technique and choreography, fostering a positive classroom environment, and helping students grow as confident and passionate dancers.
