Job Description
Overview The Majorette Coach will be responsible for teaching and developing dancers ages 4-10 , focusing on fundamental majorette technique, dance performance, teamwork, discipline, and confidence. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children and can create a structured, encouraging, and engaging learning environment. Responsibilities Teach beginner and intermediate majorette dance techniques. Maintain a positive, disciplined, and encouraging practice environment. Build dancers' confidence while promoting teamwork and sportsmanship. Attend weekly practices, performances, competitions, and team events. Collaborate with the Director and coaching staff to meet team goals. Track dancer progress and communicate concerns with leadership. Ensure dancer safety during practices and performances. Qualifications Previous majorette dance experience (coach or performer) Experience working with children Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to motivate and inspire young dancers Reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check CPR/First Aid certification is a plus Schedule Evening practices (1-2 nights per week) Some Saturdays Weekend competitions and performances throughout the season Join our coaching staff as a Majorette Coach to ignite passion for performance arts in young athletes!
