We bring dance directly to local preschools and daycare centers, where we teach fun, energetic, age-appropriate classes to children ages 3-5. This is a great opportunity for a dancer who wants to make money doing what they love, gain teaching experience, and have the flexibility to choose how much they work. What Makes This Opportunity Different? We are currently looking for instructors in Durham, Chapel Hill, Morrisville, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, and surrounding areas. YOU choose how much you want to work. We currently have opportunities ranging from 1 class per week to 15+ classes per week, depending on your availability and the classes available.

Our typical class times are:

9:00 AM 10:30 AM 3:00 PM You don't need to commit to a full-time schedule. If you have a few mornings or afternoons available each week, we may be able to build a schedule around you. As Dancing Little Stars RDU continues to grow, there is also an opportunity to pick up additional classes and grow your weekly schedule over time. What You'll Be Doing You'll be bringing dance to little ones who are just discovering how much fun movement can be! Teach our Dancing Little Stars curriculum to children ages 3-5 Lead fun, energetic 45-60 minute dance classes Demonstrate and participate in the movements alongside the children Keep children engaged, excited, and involved throughout class Encourage confidence, coordination, rhythm, and a love of dance Create a positive and fun environment for every child Travel to assigned preschools and daycare centers Represent Dancing Little Stars RDU professionally You will be provided with our curriculum and class material. $$$ Pay $30+ per class/hour The more classes you're available for, the more you can earn. With the ability to teach multiple classes in a day and potentially 15+ classes per week, this can be a great way to turn your dance experience into consistent part-time income. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: 18 years or older Experienced in dance — any dance background is welcome! Comfortable dancing and demonstrating movements for up to an hour Energetic, outgoing, patient, and fun Comfortable working with preschool-aged children Reliable and punctual Able to work independently Professional when interacting with schools, children, and staff Able to pass a background check Has reliable transportation You do not need to have a specific type of dance background. Ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, musical theater, competitive dance, performance, or other dance experience is welcome. Position Details Part-Time Independent Contractor (1099)

Flexible - typically 9:00 AM, 10:30 AM, and 3:00

PM Class Load:
