Job Description

Danse Élan Dance Academy is seeking an additional Acro Dance Instructor to join our warm, technique-focused faculty. We are a boutique, non-competitive studio that values excellent instruction, student confidence, and a positive learning environment. The ideal instructor has a strong background in acro dance and/or tumbling, understands safe skill progressions and spotting, and enjoys helping children build strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence at their own pace.
Responsibilities:
Teach engaging, age-appropriate acro classes for children at beginner through intermediate levels Plan classes with thoughtful progressions, proper warm-ups, conditioning, flexibility, and safe skill development Maintain a positive, encouraging, and well-managed classroom Communicate professionally with studio leadership and collaborate with fellow faculty Support students in studio performances and the annual recital as needed
Qualifications:
Prior experience teaching acro dance, tumbling, or a related discipline Strong knowledge of safe progressions, spotting, and injury-prevention practices Acrobatic Arts certification or similar training is strongly preferred but not required Dependable, professional, and enthusiastic about working with children Dance teaching experience is a plus This is a part-time, in-person position. Current teaching needs include classes on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, with potential for additional classes as enrollment grows. We would love to meet an instructor who is committed to helping young dancers feel safe, capable, and proud of their progress.
