Overview Join our vibrant fitness community as a Cardio Dance Instructor and energize members through dynamic, high-energy dance-based cardio classes! In this role, you will lead engaging group fitness sessions that combine rhythmic movement, dance styles, and motivating music to promote cardiovascular health, body confidence, and fun. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire participants to achieve their fitness goals while enjoying every beat. Responsibilities Lead lively, well-structured cardio dance classes that incorporate various dance styles such as hip-hop, salsa, jazz, or contemporary to keep participants motivated and engaged Demonstrate proper exercise routines, ensuring correct form and technique to maximize safety and effectiveness Design innovative class programs that cater to different fitness levels, from beginners to advanced dancers Motivate participants through energetic coaching, positive reinforcement, and personalized encouragement Ensure safety by monitoring group exercise practices, providing modifications when necessary, and adhering to health and safety protocols including CPR and AED operation Maintain excellent customer service by addressing participant questions, providing feedback on performance, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere Stay current with industry trends in group fitness, dance choreography, biomechanics, physiology, and health club best practices to continuously enhance class quality Qualifications Proven experience in group fitness instruction with a focus on cardio dance or similar formats such as Zumba or aerobics Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, and body mechanics relevant to dance-based cardio training Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation required; additional certifications such as First Aid preferred Background in dance instruction or coaching with skills in demonstration and practice of exercise routines Familiarity with fitness industry standards including personal training, sports coaching experience, Pilates or Yoga instruction is advantageous Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of participants of all ages and fitness levels Physical fitness training experience including heavy lifting or manual handling is beneficial for demonstrating exercises safely Passion for promoting health through engaging dance routines combined with strong customer service skills Embark on a rewarding journey where your love for dance meets your dedication to health! $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
