Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Mommy & Me Preschool Dance Class instructor, dedicated to fostering joy, creativity, and developmental growth through movement and music. This engaging role offers the opportunity to inspire young children and their caregivers in a lively, supportive environment. As a key contributor, you'll lead energetic dance sessions designed specifically for preschoolers and their parents or guardians, promoting bonding, motor skills, and artistic expression. This paid position is perfect for passionate educators and arts enthusiasts eager to make a positive impact on early childhood development. Responsibilities Lead lively and age-appropriate dance classes for preschool children and their caregivers every Friday from 4:45 to 5:30 pm Develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate movement, music, and creative arts tailored to early childhood developmental stages Manage classroom activities with enthusiasm, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for all participants Incorporate elements of choreography, dance instruction, and musical instruments into sessions to enhance sensory engagement Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage participation and cooperation among young children Collaborate with parents or guardians to support children's artistic expression and developmental milestones Maintain classroom organization, including setup of dance space and preparation of teaching materials such as costumes or props when needed Skills Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings, especially preschool-aged kids Strong background in curriculum development for early childhood arts programs Proficiency in teaching visual & performing arts, including dance, theater, and music education Knowledge of choreography, dance instruction techniques, and musical instruments suitable for young learners Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering creativity and confidence Familiarity with childhood development principles and special education strategies if applicable Skills in lesson planning that integrate movement, music, arts & crafts (such as sewing or cooking activities), and performance arts This dynamic role invites energetic professionals who are passionate about nurturing young children's love for the arts. Pay:
