Job Description
The Department of Performing Arts at Rider University seeks an adjunct instructor of Salsa/Latin dance for the fall semester beginning September 9, 2026. This position is to teach classes in dance. Salary is $4,215.98 for a 3-credit course. Please note that a full course is considered to have 9 students enrolled in the course. If a section is not full, 8 or fewer enrollees, the salary is prorated based on the number of students enrolled in the course. BA or BFA in dance, theatre, a related degree field, or equivalent professional experience. Experience teaching and/or choreographing salsa/Latin dance. Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required. Terminal degree in dance, a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Experience teaching in a university.
