Job Description
Millstone Dance is located in Millstone, NJ and is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic dance teacher for the 2025-2026 season. We are looking for someone who is passionate about being with children and share our values in dance education. We start teaching students at age 2 all the way through adults. We are a newer, dance school with a strong sense of community trying to build our teaching staff with our growing student body. We pride ourselves on offering quality dance education with proper fundamentals and lots of performance opportunities. We are creating our schedule for next season and looking for teachers in all areas- ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, acro, pom, and hip-hop for Wednesdays and possibly other days during the week. Classes typically begin about 4:00pm on the weekdays. •We are currently looking for a hip-hop instructor for Tuesdays for the 2026-2027 season.•If this sounds like what you are looking for, then please contact us to discuss joining our dance family! Responsibilities Instruct and lead dance classes, focusing on techniques and choreography. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to various skill levels. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants. Collaborate with other dance instructors to create integrated dance programs. Promote classes and encourage participation in dance-related events.
