Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Dance Instructor to inspire students of all ages through the art of movement and performance. In this role, you will design engaging dance curricula, lead energetic classes, and foster a positive environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and self-expression. Your expertise will help students develop their technical skills, confidence, and love for dance while promoting physical fitness and artistic growth. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive dance curricula tailored to different skill levels and age groups, incorporating various styles such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, or cultural dances Lead engaging and energetic dance classes that motivate students to improve their technique and performance skills Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment Provide constructive feedback to students on their progress and encourage their artistic development Choreograph routines for performances, recitals, or competitions, ensuring they align with students' abilities and artistic goals Incorporate music selection, movement exercises, and visual arts elements into lessons to enrich the learning experience Collaborate with other instructors or program coordinators to plan special events or workshops that enhance student engagement Skills Proven experience in dance instruction across multiple styles and age groups Strong background in choreography and performance arts Ability to develop creative curricula that cater to diverse learning needs Excellent classroom management skills with a focus on fostering positive student relationships Experience working with children and youth programs; familiarity with childhood development principles is a plus Knowledge of teaching visual arts, performing arts, or related creative disciplines such as theater or music Skilled in working with students on instrumental performance or musical instruments as part of dance integration Ability to incorporate photography or multimedia elements into dance projects for a modern educational approach Experience in teaching adult education or specialized arts instruction such as sewing or culinary arts is advantageous Passion for inspiring others through dancing, theater, or creative arts education Join us in creating an inspiring space where movement meets creativity!
