Gymnastics Instructor Location:

Mae Mae Dance Studio, Flushing, NY Part-Time / Sundays To apply, email: maemaedancestudio@gmail.com Mae Mae Dance Center is seeking an experienced and passionate Acrobatic Instructor to join our dynamic team! Our ideal candidate has a background in acro, gymnastics, or tumbling and enjoys working with children and teens in a structured, supportive, and creative environment.

Responsibilities:

Teach acrobatic skills safely and effectively to beginner through advanced-level students Create lesson plans that build strength, flexibility, control, and confidence Emphasize proper technique, injury prevention, and artistic expression Support choreography that integrates acro skills into dance routines Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom atmosphere Communicate progress and goals with students and parents

Qualifications:

Prior experience teaching acrobatics, gymnastics, or tumbling (dance studio or gym setting preferred) Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate skill progressions CPR/First Aid certification a plus Ability to spot safely and confidently Team player with strong communication skills Bonus if you have: Experience in competitive dance or choreography Certification in Acrobatic Arts or similar program We offer a supportive team environment, enthusiastic students, and a chance to grow with our expanding program.
