The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles, and possess the ability to engage students of all ages. The Assistant Dance Teacher helps the lead instructor by assisting students with technique, demonstrating choreography, and managing class logistics such as setting up music and equipment, and supervising younger students. They also maintain a safe and positive studio environment, provide individual attention to students needing help, and support the instructor during class, rehearsals, and performances. This role offers hands-on experience, making it a valuable step for aspiring dance educators. Classes most needing assistants- Mondays 4:30-5:35p K-1st Ballet/Tap Saturdays 10:00-10:45 PreK Ballet/Creative Movement Saturdays 11:00-11:45a K-1st Ballet/Creative Movement Saturdays 12:00-12:45 K-1st Hip Hop Classes start Sept. 14 Must be at least 18 years old to apply!
