Seeking Qui Gong instructor for workshop/class collaboration Breathing Room Hillsboro, OR Job Details Part-time | Contract $40 - $75 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Free fitness classes Qualifications Teamwork Yoga Working with students Teaching Tai Chi Full Job Description We're looking for an experienced Qigong teacher for monthly workshops who can guide students through intentional movement, breath, meditation, and energy cultivation in a way that feels welcoming, grounding, and accessible. Whether your practice is rooted in Taoist Qigong, Five Elements, Eight Brocades (Ba Duan Jin), Shibashi, or another lineage, we'd love to hear from you. You might be a great fit if you... Hold a Qigong instructor certification or equivalent professional training and experience Teach with warmth, presence, and authenticity Create classes that feel welcoming to every/body and every level of experience Can safely guide students through mindful movement, breath, posture, and energy cultivation with thoughtful modifications when needed Value meditation, breath awareness, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation as much as physical movement Have an appreciation for Traditional Chinese Medicine principles and holistic wellness Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to hold space for your students Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and fellow teachers Take pride in leaving the studio even more beautiful than you found it Are dependable and genuinely enjoy working in a studio environment Experience with meditation, sound healing, Reiki, yoga, Tai Chi, or other complementary healing modalities is a wonderful bonus.
