Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Ballet Instructor to inspire students of all ages and skill levels through the art of ballet. In this role, you will develop engaging dance curricula, lead classes that foster creativity and technical mastery, and cultivate a positive learning environment. Your expertise will help students build confidence, discipline, and a love for dance while promoting physical fitness and artistic expression. Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive ballet curricula tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels, incorporating elements of choreography, technique, and performance skills. Lead energetic and motivating ballet classes that emphasize proper form, movement quality, musicality, and stage presence. Manage classroom dynamics effectively by maintaining discipline, encouraging participation, and fostering a supportive atmosphere for all students. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with varying abilities, including children with special needs or early childhood education requirements. Collaborate with other arts educators to integrate ballet with visual arts, theater, or musical components when appropriate. Prepare students for performances or productions by coaching choreography and stage routines while emphasizing artistic expression. Maintain accurate attendance records, progress reports, and lesson plans to track student development and ensure continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven experience in teaching ballet or other dance forms with a strong background in choreography and dance instruction. Demonstrated ability to develop engaging curriculum plans that cater to different age groups, including preschoolers and adults. Experience working with children or youth programs, including classroom management and behavior guidance strategies. Knowledge of visual & performing arts education principles, including theater experience or teaching instrumental performance is a plus. Skills in working with students of varying abilities, including special education needs or early childhood development. Familiarity with musical instruments or music theory can enhance lesson delivery but is not mandatory.
