Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles, and a commitment to educating students of all ages. This role involves teaching dance techniques, developing curriculum, and fostering a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression. Responsibilities Instruct students in various dance styles. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different skill levels. Educate students on dance techniques, choreography, and performance skills. Create a supportive atmosphere that promotes confidence and personal growth. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Collaborate with other instructors to design curriculum that meets educational standards. Engage with parents and guardians regarding student development and progress. Participate in community events and performances to showcase student achievements. Requirements Proven experience as a Dance Instructor or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of various dance styles. Background in Special Education or Early Childhood Education is a plus. Ability to develop educational materials and curriculum for diverse learners. Familiarity with childhood development principles is preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire students of all ages. A passion for dance and education, with a commitment to fostering creativity.
