Job Description

We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and reliable Dance Instructor to join our team for the Summer and Fall 2026! The ideal candidate loves working with dancers of all ages and levels—from toddlers taking their very first class to adults continuing their dance journey. We are willing to train the right candidate who brings enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a love for movement.
Responsibilities:
Teach engaging, age-appropriate classes for students ages 2 through adult Instruct a variety of styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, creative movement, and/or tumbling Open to teaching and/or incorporating non-traditional movement styles such as yoga, pilates, Zumba, or other fitness-based classes Create lesson plans that promote technique, creativity, and confidence Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different age groups and skill levels Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment Choreograph routines for performances and recitals Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff Maintain classroom structure, safety, and studio policies
Qualifications:
Previous teaching experience preferred, but not required Background or interest in dance, fitness, or movement-based instruction (dance, yoga, pilates, Zumba, etc.) Open-minded and excited to explore a variety of movement styles Ability to manage a classroom with a range of ages and abilities High energy, patience, and a positive attitude Reliable, organized, and professional CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus

Someone who is passionate about dance and movement in all forms A team player who brings creativity and enthusiasm to every class A teacher who can balance structure with fun, especially for our youngest dancers Willingness to learn, grow, and be trained in our class structure and teaching approach
Schedule:
Part-time, with weekday morning, afternoon/evening and possible weekend hours
Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
