Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Circus Instructor specializing in aerial arts, gymnastics (acro for 3-5 year olds, Don't worry we can train you), and add in a little dance into aerials! In this energetic role, you will inspire and guide participants of all ages and skill levels to develop their physical abilities, confidence, and creativity through engaging circus arts training. Your expertise will help foster a safe, fun, and motivating environment where students can achieve their personal best. Duties Lead instructional classes in aerial disciplines such as silks, trapeze, lyra, and other circus apparatuses, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed. Design and implement age-appropriate gymnastics and dance routines that promote skill development and artistic expression. Provide clear demonstrations, step-by-step guidance, and constructive feedback to students of varying experience levels. Maintain a safe training environment by enforcing safety guidelines, conducting equipment inspections, and supervising all activities closely. Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, confidence-building, and positive behavior management among students. Communicate regularly with clients and parents regarding progress, class schedules, and safety procedures. Stay current on industry best practices in sports coaching, physical education teaching, and circus arts instruction to enhance program quality. Skills Proven experience working with children in a coaching or teaching capacity within gymnastics, dance, or circus arts settings. Strong communication skills to effectively instruct students and engage with clients. Demonstrated leadership abilities in team environments or sports team coaching roles. Knowledge of first aid procedures including CPR Familiarity with health club or gym environments with experience in climbing or aerial apparatus setup is preferred. Experience with behavior management techniques to motivate students while maintaining safety standards. Additional skills such as swimming, , cheerleading, or sports-specific training instruction are considered valuable assets.
