Job Description

HOURS:

Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, plus 1/2 hour unpaid meal break

COMPENSATION

$24.80

•$29.67 per hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Inputs correspondence, reports, memos and all school related information as required by directors.

Maintains databases and district platforms in support of director's responsibilities.

Maintains confidential professional personnel files.

Supports attendees in professional development opportunities throughout the summer and school year (Vector.)

Assists with Office of Instruction web page

Gathers information and prepares complex reports for administration and government agencies.

Expedites activities with outside vendors, agencies and/or public as required.

Prepares purchase orders and reconciles deliveries.

Assists with arranging for location and equipment for meetings and/or workshops. Performs secretarial tasks required to support meetings and/or workshops.

May assist with preparation of school budget and/or grants; maintaining and monitoring budget, grants, purchase requests and major accounts.

Incumbents must know all District procedures to perform this job in an effective manner

Greets all visitors courteously, determines their needs, checks appointments, and directs or escorts them to the proper person.

Answers office telephones and responds appropriately either by answering the question or routing the call to the appropriate office or person and/or taking messages.

Must have overall knowledge of all administrative office positions, functions and procedures in order to be able to answer inquiries, respond to requests, or refer people to the appropriate office or person.

Assist with filing

Interact with staff, families, students and general public in a tactful and professional manner.

Front office duties as assigned by the Directors, including, but not limited to, reception answering and directing phone calls, receive, sort and distribute mail, supplies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have excellent public interface skills.

Proficient in Google Suite applications

Must be able to multi-task in a very, busy fast paced environment.

Strong knowledge of and skill in Microsoft Office programs.

Accuracy and attention to detail are a must.

Confidentiality.

Ability to work cooperatively with staff, teachers, students and administration.
