Course:
Stagecraft and Lighting for Contemporary Worship This course examines the elements of designing scenery and lighting for a worship service and explores best practices of proper stagecraft.
What You Will Do:
Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies. Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends. Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path. Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
What You Will Bring:
Minimum:
Bachelors in Technical Theatre/Stage Design/ or similar content area, and 5 years of professional experience as stage and lighting designer.
Preferred:
Masters (or higher) in Technical Theatre/Stage Design and 3 years of college teaching experience.
