Job Description
Overview:
Do you love bringing meaningful learning experiences to kids and enjoy the world of theater? We are seeking an upbeat, passionate, and dedicated person to join our team as theater teacher! We provide after school enrichment class opportunities to children around Northern Colorado in local elementary schools. Classes run for one hour immediately after school in PSD , TSD, as well as WeldRe4 elementary schools. All curriculum, materials, and training to become a NoCo Tutoring & Enrichment educator is provided.Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction and manage a group of students
- Help students develop and create a final set play production
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Communicate regularly with NoCo Tutoring & Enrichment administrative staff to report class details
- Maintain a safe, organized, positive, and engaging classroom environment for students
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Background experience in theater
- Experience working with young students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly dependable and responsible
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students in learning
- Ability to co-teach positively in a team
