• This role focuses on high-mix electro-mechanical assembly at the component level within an ISO 7 (Class 10K) cleanroom environment.

You will perform light setup, operation, and troubleshooting of production equipment and tooling, including hand soldering, pick-and-place of micro-electronics, wire bonders, test stands, reflow and convection ovens, CT scanning, and optical scope usage. You will also use MRP software and productivity reporting metrics while working at a workstation or production line following semi-routine manufacturing processes.

• Responsibilities
• + Perform high-mix electro-mechanical assembly at the component level in an ISO 7 (Class 10K) cleanroom environment.

+ Set up, operate, and troubleshoot production equipment and tooling, including hand soldering stations, pick-and-place machines, wire bonders, test stands, reflow ovens, and convection ovens.

+ Handle micro-electronics and perform precision work under microscopes and optical scopes.

+ Use CT scanning and optical inspection tools to verify product quality and assembly accuracy.

+ Follow semi-routine manufacturing processes and standard operating procedures to complete assembly tasks consistently and efficiently.

+ Utilize MRP software to track work orders, materials, and productivity metrics in a workstation or production line setting.

+ Perform mechanical and electronic assembly tasks, including wiring and basic power tool use, as required.

+ Inspect assemblies and components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, referencing schematics and work instructions when needed.

+ Collaborate with production leads and team members to resolve equipment or process issues and maintain smooth workflow.

+ Participate in on-the-job training on first shift to learn cleanroom practices, equipment operation, and assembly techniques before transitioning to second shift.

• Essential Skills
• + Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively with tools, fixtures, and small components.

+ Experience or strong comfort with mechanical assembly in a cleanroom environment.

+ Ability to perform light setup, operation, and troubleshooting of production equipment and tooling.

+ Capability to perform hand soldering tasks; prior soldering experience is a strong plus.

+ Ability to work under a microscope or optical scope for precision assembly and inspection.

+ Comfort working with micro-electronics and electro-mechanical assemblies.

+ Ability to read and follow semi-routine manufacturing processes and work instructions.

+ Basic understanding of inspection practices and working with schematics.

+ Willingness and ability to train on first shift (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday) for approximately 9-12 months, then transition to second shift (3:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m., Monday through Friday).

• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Experience in electronic assembly and wiring is beneficial.

+ Familiarity with

ISO 9001

environments or quality standards is advantageous.

+ Comfort using power tools in a production or assembly setting.

+ Experience with MRP software and productivity reporting is helpful.

+ Background in cleanroom production or similar high-precision manufacturing is preferred.

+ Ability to work with test stands, reflow and convection ovens, and CT scanning equipment is a plus.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards in repetitive tasks.

+ Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and technologies as the site expands.

• Work Environment
• You work in a controlled ISO 7 (Class 10K) cleanroom environment focused on precision electro-mechanical assembly.

The role involves using production equipment such as soldering stations, pick-and-place machines, wire bonders, test stands, reflow and convection ovens, CT scanners, and microscopes or optical scopes. You initially train on first shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, for approximately 9-12 months, then transition to a second shift schedule from 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Proper personal protective equipment is provided, and the environment emphasizes cleanliness, safety, and adherence to standardized manufacturing processes.

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $20.

00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
