Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and passionate Drama and Musical Theatre Instructor to inspire young performers through engaging instruction in acting, singing, dancing, and stagecraft. This paid position offers the opportunity to develop students' artistic talents while fostering confidence and teamwork. The ideal candidate will bring a lively teaching style, strong theatrical skills, and experience working with children to create memorable performing arts experiences. Responsibilities Deliver dynamic drama and musical theatre classes tailored to children's developmental levels and interests. Piad training on our material. Teach curricula that incorporate acting techniques, choreography, singing, dance instruction, and stage movement Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment that encourages participation and growth Guide students through rehearsals for performances or showcases inMay, emphasizing teamwork and confidence-building Incorporate various arts disciplines such as choreography, dance , singing, and acting. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their artistic development Maintain a safe, organized classroom environment aligned with program standards Requirements Experience in teaching performing arts with a focus on drama or musical theatre Strong background in choreography, dance instruction , and stage performance Experience working with children of diverse ages (K-5th youth programs) Knowledge of curriculum development tailored to creative arts instruction for young learners Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering creativity and enthusiasm Familiarity with childhood development principles and behavior management strategies.
