Instructor to inspire and develop students' vocal talents across a variety of artistic disciplines. In this role, you will design engaging curricula, foster a positive learning environment, and guide students of all ages through their musical journeys. Your expertise will help nurture confidence, creativity, and technical skill in aspiring singers and performers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the arts community while sharing your love for voice, theater, dance, and creative expression. Duties Develop comprehensive voice training programs tailored to students' age and skill levels, incorporating elements of musical theater, classical singing, jazz, or contemporary styles Lead engaging voice lessons that emphasize proper technique, breath control, pitch accuracy, diction, and stage presence Integrate choreography, dance instruction, and movement techniques to enhance performance skills and stage confidence Manage classroom environments effectively through strong behavior management strategies and childhood development principles Collaborate with students on their individual artistic projects such as theater performances, musical productions, or dance showcases Incorporate visual arts like photography or sewing into creative projects to enrich students' artistic experience Provide constructive feedback and personalized coaching to help students achieve their performance goals while fostering a supportive atmosphere Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, and curriculum development efforts Skills Proven experience working with children and youth in arts education settings Strong background in teaching visual & performing arts including singing, dance (ballet and other styles), theater, and instrumental performance Expertise in curriculum development for creative arts instruction across diverse age groups Classroom management skills combined with an understanding of childhood development principles Experience teaching arts-related subjects such as choreography, dancing, sewing or photography is highly desirable Ability to work effectively with students on their musical instruments or vocal techniques while promoting confidence and enjoyment Knowledge of behavior management strategies to maintain an engaging learning environment for preschoolers through adults Familiarity with teaching adult education programs or community youth initiatives is a plus Join us as a Voice Instructor and become a vital part of our vibrant arts community!
